Fritzmeier is delighted to receive an innovation award at bauma 2019 in Munich. Together with the University of Munich, HoloLens and Vancom, the cab expert has developed an innovative solution for the driver on the modern construction site.
Fritzmeier a family business with a spirit of innovation
As a family business, Fritzmeier is driven by long-term innovation: "How can we develop further? How can we move forward in the industry?" The driver at this year's bauma is the digitalization of the construction site. In the end, it will affect the driver and Fritzmeier will be challenged to offer solutions in the cab. Fritzmeier has collaborated with the University of Munich. With HoloLens and Vemcon. Various companies that pool their expertise in this area. Together, a solution was offered that ultimately led to the award ceremony at the opening of bauma 2019.
Capture dangerous moments on the construction site with HoloLens glasses
In an animated film, you can see very clearly how the construction site is captured digitally. This makes it possible to identify all potential hazards. All divisions, procedures and processes on the construction site are digitized and brought together in one program. This information is passed on to the driver via the HoloLens glasses. The program is suitable for increasing safety and eliminating idle time. These are the reasons why we are trying to better plan the construction site. That is the aim of the project.
